Scar & Stretch Mark Camouflage Certification
There is a moment that every scar camouflage artist experiences — the moment a client looks in the mirror after their session and bursts into tears. Not from sadness. From relief. From disbelief. From the overwhelming feeling of finally seeing themselves without the scar that has defined how they felt about their body for years, sometimes decades.

What Is Scar & Stretch Mark Camouflage?
When performed by a trained, certified artist the results are extraordinary — scars that have been visible for years become virtually invisible, and clients walk away with a renewed sense of wholeness they didn't think was possible.
This course also covers stretch mark camouflage — one of the fastest-growing services in the paramedical space — using both pigment-based and inkless techniques to dramatically reduce the appearance of stretch marks on the abdomen, thighs, hips, breasts, and beyond.
What Conditions Can Be Treated?
Trauma scars — accident injuries, burns, and skin grafts
Hair transplant scars — donor site scars at the back of the scalp
Stretch marks — from pregnancy, weight changes, or growth spurts on any area of the body
Vitiligo — loss of skin pigmentation causing white patches on the skin
Hypopigmentation & hyperpigmentation — uneven skin tone from scarring, sun damage, or medical conditions
Mastectomy & breast reconstruction — including areola restoration for breast cancer survivors
Self-harm scars — some of the most emotionally significant and transformative work in the entire field
Why Clients Love Scar Camouflage
The feedback from scar camouflage clients is unlike anything else in the beauty industry. This isn't about looking younger or more put-together — it's about feeling whole again.
The Income Opportunity Is Exceptional
With an average pay of $51.37 per hour in the United States, paramedical tattoo artists in the cosmetology field have substantial earning potential — and as a paramedical tattoo artist you have the chance to earn as high as $190.62 per hour.
camouflage sessions typically run two to four hours depending on the size and complexity of the treatment area, with most artists charging $300–$800 per session. Large or complex cases — full abdominal stretch marks, extensive surgical scarring, full vitiligo treatments — can command $1,000–$2,500 per session.
With the freedom to set your schedule, choose your clients, earn unlimited income, and work anywhere helping people conceal scars, this career offers an unparalleled lifestyle. With significantly lower startup capital, lower overhead expenses, and higher income from procedures, paramedical tattooing is one of the most compelling career opportunities in the beauty and wellness space.
What makes this specialty particularly powerful from a business perspective is the combination of high session fees, genuine scarcity of truly skilled artists, and a client base that is emotionally invested in finding someone great. Clients will travel significant distances — and pay premium prices — for an artist with the skill, credentials, and portfolio to deliver results they can trust.

This Is In-Person Training — And Rodger Comes to You
Unlike many courses that are fully online, scar and stretch mark camouflage requires hands-on, in-person practice to master properly. Pigment matching, needle depth, scar tissue behavior — these are skills that can only be truly learned with a needle in your hand and a live model in front of you, under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
Our primary training location is in Danville, California — in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. But because demand for Rodger's training has grown far beyond California, he also travels nationally and internationally to bring this certification directly to artists and studios who want to host a training in their own location.
Whether you come to us in Danville or bring Rodger to you — the training, the standard, and the certification are identical.
⚠️ Spots fill extremely fast. Due to the hands-on nature of this training and Rodger's travel schedule, class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure every student gets the personalized attention they need. Once a date is announced, seats go quickly — sometimes within hours.
